Professor Yongyung Hu, Chair of the Atmospheric and Oceanic Department at Peking University, presented a seminar entitled, "Stratospheric ozone recovery may enhance greenhouse warming in the 21st century" at the UCLA Atmospheric and Oceanic Department on October 5, 2011. Professor Hu is a visitor of JIFRESSE. Director Liou and Professor Qinbin Li are developing a collaboration program with Peking University in the areas of climate and environmental sciences under the purview of the MOU between UCLA and Peking University on Sciences and Engineering.
